Service Fee Update (1Jan2012)
NST service fee structure has remained the same for nearly 5 years. Due to travel industry changes UBC has agreed to a slight modification commencing 1st January 2012.
NEW Service Fee, Effective (1Jan12)
Service fees include air, car, and hotel bookings:
- $37.00 plus tax
- $10.00 plus tax for changes
Expired Service Fee, (31Dec11)
- $37 plus tax - travel within North America
- $40 plus tax - travel to International Destination
- $0 client service fee for changes

Concur - UBC's onLine booking System for Air, car, hotel
UBC's online system is recommended for simply point to point bookings within Canada or between the US and Canada. If changes or cancellations are required please contact North South Travel.
Both travellers and travel arrangers must have their own profiles for the purpose of security and tracking reservations and charges to credit cards.
Please ensure your traveller and or travel arranger profile is completed after your initial registration by logging into the site and proceeding to the "Profile Tab".
In order to avoid booking errors, denied boarding at airports and non tracking of frequent traveller points please ensure only your legal name is enter into the Concur profile and that any frequent traveller programs match your legal name.
Service Fee
Service fees include air, car and hotel bookings:
- $5.00 plus tax for unassisted bookings
- $15.00 plus tax for changes not requiring ticket issuance
- $37.00 plus tax for assisted bookings
